Mark entered the weighing and measurement industry in 1988 as a “Picker Packer” at the newly opened Toledo Scale warehouse in Worthington, OH. A “Picker Packer” would “Pick” the replacement part, “Pack” the item and ship it to customers.
Around 1990 Toledo Scale and Mettler merged to become METTLER TOLEDO. He took a job in Accounts Payable at a different facility in Worthington, OH. Soon he was a Cost Accountant managing inventory. He taught himself how to program computers and became the I.T. Manager for the Accounting departments in Spartanburg, SC, Franksville, WI and Worthington, OH.
In !992 he was interested in Marketing and took a position as Product Manager for floor scales and weigh modules at the heavy capacity plant in Worthington, OH.
In 1996 he took a position as manager for the technical support and application support for all industrial products in North America guiding a team of 25 people.
In 2002 Mark started selling high precision product to OEMs and Machine Builders and has been in sales since. Mark has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a minor in Marketing and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership.
He is a member of NISA, SMA and ISWM. He resides in North San Diego county with his wife Jules. Mark and Jules have 6 daughters and 16 grandkids. In his spare time, he likes to travel and enjoy family.
